What is a flex outlet?
Flex outlets are used to hardwire appliances that don’t come fitted with and 13A plug. They are used to hard wire an appliance into the plate. For example if you wanted a hairdryer set up next to a dressing table- a flex outlet lets you hardwire it into the plate.
